Tacos and Chacos

Thursday, the current sisters of Sigma Beta Sigma hosted Tacos and Chacos. This event was held as a fundraiser for our philanthropy, The United Methodist Children's Home of South Georgia. We are very excited about this event and we had a great turn out - so thank you to all those at Young Harris College and the community for helping us with this!

We are so thankful for those of you who have donated to our philanthropy or bought a shirt for this event. We were able to raise over $100 for our philanthropy and we are so excited for this!! If you weren't able to attend and want to purchase a shirt, there is still time, we close out the order Tuesday morning so let us know! Again, thank you for all that you do to support our current sisters in their endeavors; we greatly appreciate it.

We're in high hopes that this can become a yearly event for us to continue to support our future philanthropies. Not only did we have students come in, but we had faculty and we also had community members come through and purchase tacos! Hopefully next year we can get the word out with a little more time to advertise so that we can get more participants and raise more for our kiddos in the Children's Home.
