Battle of Blood Mountain

As many of you know, the Susan's won the Purple Out award four years running up until last year. Last year was an upset for us as the Pep Band got the Purple Passion Award. But they only had that title for a year until we redeemed ourselves.

This year, the current sisters of Sigma Beta Sigma brought the thunder to the stage as we came into the games wanting to win. As many of our sisters know multiple members of both the men's and women's basketball teams, we were loud and proud as we were cheering them all on. The women lost by two points, but that was okay because they played a riveting game that made us all proud to be Mountain Lions. The men won their game and proved to all of us that YHC was the place to be.

At the last media time out of the game (it was on ESPN 3 for those of you who missed it), we were announced as the winners of the Purple Passion Award. It was a fun time for all of us, as we were representing Young Harris and why it's so great to be here on national television.
